After you've finished your spring cleaning, donate your books to the library!
Can you believe the weather the last week or so? It's been BEAUTIFUL in Vancouver (we're SO lucky compared to the rest of the country!!). And with the sunnier weather, we're seeing more and more visits to the library which is fantastic! But it also means we're running a little low on books. A couple of ways you can help:
- Get those books back in circulation! If you've finished with a book you've borrowed, swing back by the library and drop it off. The Vitamin D from the sun will do you good :)
- Are you cleaning off your shelves? Maybe there is a book or two that you'd like to donate? We'd definitely welcome your gently used books. But remember, if YOU don't want to curl up with that book in bed anymore (ripped paperback covers, water damage, missing pages), chances are other patrons don't either.
We're excited to do a little spring cleaning on the library itself soon. We need to scrub off that Vancouver winter mildew and probably give it a new coat of paint this year. It might even be fun to hold a little Meet'n'Greet at the library this summer. What do you think?
